By now, you'll know that we play lacrosse, but there's so much more to our association! Throughout the year, countless activities are being organised by our committees, teams, and enthusiastic members who want to hang out with their fellow Warriors even more. On this page, we're highlighting some of them!
Acitivities organised by the association
Every year, the board organises a cobo (constition drinks) to inaugurate the new board. We celebrate this with drinks in one of Wageningen's student bars. The board hosts a small annual celebration that we call Hardy's birthday on the 12th of December, because that's the day our association was founded!
Additionally, there are many activities that are organised by our committees, mainly by the Laxie and the ReTourCie. A few examples from last year include a bonfire night, Secret Santa, a casino night, a pyjama tournament and beach lacrosse. And of course, there is our annual Warrior Weekend!
Team activities
While we love hanging out with the entire association, we also spend plenty of time on team bonding! Each team organises their own activities, and the annual highlights are the team weekend. Last year, ladies 2 went to the Ardennes, and the men visited the Eiffel, while ladies 1 spent a weekend in The Hague near the beach.
Additionally, the teams sometimes organise an event together with one of the other team, in order to increase the bonding between the teams!
Other activities
And some of our members want even more! That's why some of them take it upon themselves to organise a ski trip or captain the Warriors knotsball or volleyball team. And of course, we also send teams to the soil drilling championships! What can we say, we like to stay active even off the lacrosse field!
